Ken Fujii developed a technique to create C. elegans embryos with the nucleus removed (enucleated embryos). Using this system, we identified the genes responsible for dynein-dependent repulsion between centrosomes and successfully reproduced the phenomenon through mechanical simulations. This study revealed how physical forces shape the organization of the cell interior.
