Takayuki Torisawa performed a detailed analysis of how several proteins accumulate in the region where the nuclear envelope once existed after its breakdown in C. elegans embryos. We discovered that dynein and its associated factors accumulate in a defined sequence, revealing a new layer of regulation in mitotic spindle formation.
